  6. The 3 top speakers ever – as rated by the DIS audience after each event – all spoke in 2014 (Steve Hannah of The Onion, Frank Anton of Hanley Wood and Scott Lamb of Buzzfeed).
  7. Other top 10 speakers ever included speakers from Forbes, The New York Times, and Salesforce, to name a few.
  8. Over the years, we’ve had speakers from a range of companies including Audi, Axel Springer, BMW, Conde Nast, CrossCut Ventures, The Economist, Facebook, Financial Times, G+J, Google, Guardian, Hearst, Huffington Post, Immediate Media, IPC Media, The New York Times, Quartz/The Atlantic, Sanoma Ventures, Tumblr, Twitter, Zumobi and more.
  9. Overall, delegates have rated by far the most DIS speakers as very good to exceptional, meaning excellent value for those attending.
  10. In 2014, we introduced several extensions to the DIS – startup presentations, a media hackathon, Berlin startup tours and a DI Tour to the USA (in May 2014) – highly rated by participants and extensions on which we will build in 2015 (more news about these soon).
  11. Each DIS includes several opportunities for formal and informal networking, as delegates meet to establish contacts and/or renew friendships. 2015 will see us build on these opportunities to add to the overall DIS experience.
