DIS@Media Hack Day

Print & Digital Digitale Medien Startseite

We'd like to invite you to become involved with our 3rd Media Hack Day as an API partner or Sponsor.

You can also participate as developer, journalist or designer, this is free of charge.

The DIS @ Media Hack Day takes place on 21 and 22 March 2015, at Axel Springer Plug & Play, in Berlin, Germany, ahead of our annual Digital Innovators' Summit (the main speaker program is on 23 and 24 March). The DIS brings together leading industry speakers and some 600 high-level delegates to consider and discuss media innovations of interest to the industry. This year’s Summit program will include a session on 23 March, showcasing top projects and the winners of the 3rd DIS @ Media Hack Day.

The topic of the Media Hack Day is "the connected car" and the challenge to developers to come up with novel ideas of how to use your content within the "connected car" environment.

The DIS @ Media Hackday is organised by FIPP and VDZ in partnership with Axel Springer Entrepreneurs and DIS partner eMediaSF. It is our third such hackathon.

By participating you stand to:

  • Get inspirational, fresh ideas from existing APIs and content
  • Connect with the developer ecosystem; unearth new talent
  • Gain exposure as an official partner to the Media Hackday

If you are interested in participating, or need more information, please register directly on the official website mediahackday.com or get in touch with Anja Mumm (A.Mumm(at)vdz.de).
